Ageing causes collagen and elastin in the superficial, deep, and under layers of our skin to break down, which results in sagging and wrinkles.

Using focused radiofrequency technology, Thermage Comfort Pulse Technology (CPT) heats the skin at a depth of approximately 3mm to tighten existing collagen and stimulate new collagen formation in the deep and under layers of the skin. This safe, non-invasive, FDA-approved procedure effectively tightens and lifts loose and sagging skin, with continued improvement for up to six months.

Numbing cream is applied prior to your treatment to maximise your comfort.

This treatment uses a handpiece with a smooth, flat tip to deliver Thermage CPT’s unique monopolar radiofrequency technology. A cooling spray is given before, during, and after each energy application to protect your skin such that you will feel a cool sensation, a pinch of heat, followed by another cool sensation. The deep but brief heating sensation is an indication that the skin is achieving an effective temperature for skin tightening.

The latest generation of Thermage CPT tips are extremely comfortable. A full-face treatment takes approximately 60 minutes (excluding numbing time), and most clients notice skin tightening and lifting effects between one to three months after the treatment. Skin tightening can continue for up to six months as the treatment stimulates collagen growth in the skin.

Clients may return to normal activities immediately after the treatment as there is no downtime. Make-up can also be worn immediately, and any redness that appears usually disappears within a few days. Mild aching, tenderness, and swelling in the treated area are occasionally noticed, but generally resolve within a few days.

Expected Results

Clients will experience tighter and smoother skin as well as softened wrinkles and reduced, lifted skin folds.

This treatment delivers gradual, natural-looking results. Most clients notice skin tightening and lifting effects between one to three months after the treatment, with effects continuing up to six months as the treatment stimulates collagen regeneration in the skin. Only a single treatment is needed to deliver results. Thermage can be used for non-surgical face and neck contouring as well as to lift brows.
