SCITON MICROLASERPEEL
The Sciton MicroLaserPeel is a minimal to full epidermal laser peel that removes a thin layer of damaged skin, leaving your skin looking smoother and more youthful. The peel refreshes tired skin by reducing wrinkles, evening skin tone, and reducing the appearance of scars. The Sciton MicroLaserPeel produces excellent results with minimal discomfort as its precision of depth can be tailored to your desired goals.
Protective goggles are first put on to protect your eyes from the laser. Depending on the severity of your skin condition, we will determine the depth of damaged skin to be removed. A computer-guided scanner controls the laser beams emitted from the laser handpiece. Microscopic layers of the skin will evenly vaporises when the laser is delivered.
Redness and a sunburn sensation may be experienced and last up to 24 hours. Peeling or flaking usually occurs after for 2-3 days, depending on the depth of treatment.
Clients should avoid direct sun exposure as the treated area will be sensitive to ultraviolet light. Excessive sun exposure should be avoided for at least two weeks after each session. It is also highly recommended for clients to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen.
Post-treatment, clients can expect an improvement in skin laxity and complexion. The appearance of pigmentation, scars, and wrinkles will be reduced, and skin will show a visible change in tone and texture from dull and tired to fresher and more luminous.
As the laser does not penetrate deep into the skin, this treatment is most suitable for skin conditions such as fine lines, pores, and superficial pigmentation. Multiple peels may be needed to achieve your desired results. While any area of the body can be treated, common areas are those most exposed to sunlight.
