MICRO BOTOX INJECTIONS

What it isProcessDowntime

Also known as intradermal botox, Micro Botox is a botox-based technique used to improve fine lines, pore size, and oily and acneic skin. A solution of botulinum toxin (botox) is mixed with hydrating agents and injected superficially into the dermis in minute amounts.

Unlike Botox treatments, Micro Botox Injections are not used to reduce the appearance of deep facial expression lines Instead, this treatment targets the fine muscle attachments in the skin, erector pili muscles, and sweat and oil glands to smooth and mattify skin, as well as tighten enlarged pores.

This treatment yields healthy, radiant-looking skin and is particularly effective in achieving a smoother and firmer tone, reduced pore size, and diminished oil production.

Before treatment, a topical numbing cream is applied and left on for 20 minutes. The Micro Botox is then superficially injected through ultra thin, fine-gauge needles in minute amounts to targeted areas. Common areas include the face and neck, particularly around the cheeks, T-zone, and chin.

Micro Botox effectively shrinks the muscles which control pore size for tighter, smoother skin. The procedure is performed with minimal discomfort and is generally well tolerated by clients.

There is no downtime involved and clients may resume normal daily activities almost immediately after treatment. Minor injection-related side effects such as redness, tenderness, swelling, and bruising, may occur. These will usually subside in a few days.

Expected Results

The rejuvenated skin is visibly tighter and more refined, with reduced pore size and redness. Similar to an “airbrushed” effect — a healthy, glowing, and flawless appearance can be attained.
