Forehead Temple Contouring

FOREHEAD & TEMPLE CONTOURING

What it isProcessDowntime

The forehead is one of the first areas to show ageing on the face. A youthful upper face appears full, convex, rounded in shape, and smooth in texture. However, over time, we lose volume due to loss in subcutaneous fat, bone, as well as thinning muscle and skin. This causes flattening and concavities to form.

Forehead and temple volume can be restored using dermal fillers, which instantly rejuvenates the upper face, restoring youthful contours, and improving the general smoothness of the forehead. it is also common for overall face shape to be better harmonised and balanced.

Numbing cream is first applied over the forehead area. A forehead nerve block injection is usually performed to further maximise your comfort throughout the procedure.

To augment the forehead, an ultra fine needle or fine, blunt cannula is used to place the product under the skin. The treatment is extremely comfortable. The injected areas are then massaged to promote the integration of the product into the tissue.

Standard treatments take less than 30 minutes to complete.

There is no downtime involved and clients may resume normal daily activities almost immediately after treatment. Minor injection-related side effects such as redness, tenderness, swelling, and bruising, may occur. These will usually subside in a few days.

Expected Results

Clients will see an immediate improvement after treatment. By restoring upper face volume, the forehead appears more convex and youthful. Temple revolumisation also improves overall facial shape, harmony, and balance. Eyebrows and eyelids are naturally lifted for a refreshed and well-rested look.

Results last 12 to 24 months depending on the type of filler used.
