DESIGNER LIP FILLERS
Lip fillers gently enhance the definition and shape of your lips, increasing the overall attractiveness, youthfulness, and sensuality of your face. Lip enhancement is a comfortable treatment that addresses lip volume loss, a natural process of ageing that leads to deflated lips, lip lines, perioral wrinkles, and down-turning of the mouth corners.
At EPION, we aim to enhance lips so they are proportionate with the rest of your face, creating beautiful, natural-looking lips. Lip shape, definition, and symmetry can be improved while balancing upper and lower lip proportions.
You will first meet with Dr Melvin Tan to discuss your treatment goals for lip enhancement.
Prior to the treatment, numbing cream is applied over the lips to maximise your comfort. This treatment involves having a series of small volume injections using an ultra fine needle to deliver the lip filler into different components of the lips. The injected areas are then massaged to promote the integration of the product into the tissue, creating the exact lip shape you desire. Lip enhancement is very comfortable and takes under 30 minutes to complete.
Following lip fillers, you will experience mild swelling of the lips for the first 24 to 48 hours as the fillers absorb water. Other minor injection-related side effects such as redness, tenderness, swelling, and bruising, may occur. These will usually subside in a few days.
Restoration of lost lip volume can give the appearance of more youthful lips and help to reduce surrounding mouth wrinkles.
Clients will see better defined lips that are not just shapely but hydrated.
Results last 9 to 12 months depending on the type of filler used.
